Uncomfortable. Awkward. Bittersweet. That's how it is between her & I. I ask a question and she replies with cold silence. A kiss on the cheek returned with an emotionless face. Don't really know what to say to her, 'cause even an apology won't work. Come to think of it, apologizing is something I've never really done... To her anyway. Maybe it's something I would live to do at least once in this life. *shrugs*
Great. Now I'm reminded of Mr. Mayer's "Say" lyrics;
Even if your hands are shaking
And your faith is broken
Even as your eyes are closing
Do it with a heart wide open
Say what you need to say x4.
Note to self! Application is a must. Gee, maybe this will help in my ever-failing attempt at growing up. I don't even know what categories I need to fit in to be labelled "Grown up"! Sure it's having a job, paying for things like petrol and phone bills... But I'm sure somewhere in these categories there would be "Not repeating mistakes", or "Failing forward". Those are the categories I want to be able to fit in to... Someday. Soon.
Hey, here are a couple of photos of when I was grown up:
*sigh* I miss you guys, terribly. Sucks to say but you guys always motivated me to grow, not only as a person but in Christ. Now I have to do some growing on my own. I guess I have to keep leading myself as well as all of you closer to the very character of God. I love you boys. Love the Lord your God with all your heart, with all your soul, with all your mind and with all your strength. Or else I will kick you in the face. Love, Kuya Yan. [:
Well, since I'm in tangents already, I might as well talk about the result of what's been happening in my life. (refer to first paragraph) Since I'm mildly forced to stay at home, I've been really slowly getting back into designing! Yup x3, very proud of me. I even had the guts to apply for a graphic design job on seek! *steps back* This also resulted in the new banner, you see up there (photo taken by yours truly) and another piece over at BENNT. Check it out yo.
Saw another very inspiring movie today at B's house with Mike; Meet The Robinsons. Talk about following your dreams! Especially the credit song, and the final quote by Walt Disney that was somewhat the very essence of the movie... So I guess there's no better way to end this other than posting the song and the quote that has simply and undoubtedly... Moved me. [:
Around here, however, we don't look backwards for very long. We keep moving forward, opening up new doors and doing new things, because we're curious... and curiosity keeps leading us down new paths. - Walt Disney

Oh and that's a new piece that I lost sleep over. It's titled; "Colby". Feast.
PS. See B, I wrote something. Super-sized onion rings!
